Bryant Astor Summerlin

Bryant passed on February 5, 2006.

From the Stuart News:

Bryant, 55, was born in Coral Gables and lived in Ft. Pierce since 1966, coming from Atlanta.

He was affiliated with Summerlin's Baywood Smoke Fisheries in Ft. Pierce.

He served in the Navy.

He graduated from Dan McCarty in 1968.

He was active in the Ft. Pierce Jaycees.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Nora, od Ft. Pierce; children, Tiffany Summerlin-Bennett, Elysa Dowis, Amy DeWitt and Trey Summerlin, all of Ft. Pierce; father, Aster Summerlin of Ft. Pierce, sister; Lynn Summerlin, and 5 grandchildren.

BAS was taken from us way, way too soon. Many memories but my best one is that no matter how down in the dumps you were or if you were really angry, BAS could get a smile out of you. R.I.P. Mr. Summerlin - JMS

BRYANT AND I HAD TO REPEAT ENGLISH BY ATTENDING NIGHT SCHOOL AT IRCC BEFORE WE COULD GRADUATE...HE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO GIVE ME A RIDE..WE ALSO PICKED UP THE TEACHER FOR THE CLASS (MR. WEST) "NEED I SAY MORE??", WE HAD WAAAAY TOO MUCH FUN!!! I WAS ALSO GOOD FRIENDS WITH HIS BROTHER DONALD (GARNEY) AND HAVE VERY FOND AND FUN MEMORIES FOR BOTH OF THESE TWO CHARACTERS....
